Community Survey Results and Neighbourhood Priorities for Abingdon Following a recent community survey completed by local residents, the Abingdon Neighbourhood Policing Team would like to thank everyone who took the time to share their views and concerns. The feedback received helps us understand the issues that matter most to our community and informs our local policing priorities. Based on the survey results, the three key neighbourhood priorities for Abingdon Town over the coming months are: 🔹 Anti-Social Behaviour in Abingdon Precinct, Abbey Meadows and Fairacres This will include tackling concerns around the inappropriate use of e-scooters and e-bikes within the town centre and other public spaces. 🔹 Drug Use and Drug Dealing This priority will focus on reports of drug-related activity in and around Abingdon Town Centre, Peachcroft Park, Abbey Meadows and Albert Park. 🔹 Police Visibility in Abingdon Residents told us they want to see more visible policing within the town. The neighbourhood team will continue to carry out high-visibility patrols and engage with local communities to provide reassurance and address concerns. Sergeant Chris Cochrane Message:- "Thank you to everyone who took part in our community survey and told us about the issues affecting where you live and work. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us understand local concerns and set our priorities. We will now work closely with our partner agencies and local organisations to prevent crime and anti-social behaviour, deter offenders, and take positive action against those responsible. Together, we will strive to make Abingdon an even safer place for everyone who lives, works and visits here." We encourage residents to continue reporting issues to us and to engage with your local neighbourhood policing team as we work towards addressing these priorities.
